I decided to choose this image because it reflects on what has happened so far in movie. The Capulets were fighting with the Mantegues. This image above shows how they used to fight at that time. The Montegues and Capulets were fighting with swords and only swords. This shows that the Capulets and the Monegues had a big conflect and did not got along and always fought with eachother.

Indie reading

Well today i read this book that i have been readin and my brothers girlfriend had reccomended me to read it. What i think went well was really nothing, Winter has been having a tough life so far since her father went to jail and her sisters are taken away and her mother is with her aunt. Winter has been tryin to live life and help herself. When she finaly gets money to leave and move on her own, she ends up leaving with no money because her roomate Lauren took it with out her knowing. Winter is now in a place where she has noi money and really does not know where she is. What i think could have gone better was that Winter did leave with the money so she can at least have a place to sleep until she starts getting on her feet and is able to live better. I like reading this book because it really is interesting and it shows me how life can be really hard and life is not easy. I learn alot fron this book and that you do need to watch over yourself because your friends can turn against you at anytime so that is what i have learned and i really like reading this book.

Demin In My View

I do think that the title fits the book because in the book there is this girl name Jessica and she is a whitch and she really doesnt want to be around the witches. Jessica likes to be around the vampires and would like to be there friends. Dominique Vida is like the most powerful whitch and doesnt allow Jessica to hang around with the vampires because the witches are vampire hunters. Having Jessica wanting to be around vampires and hanging around them makes her a trader and Dominique doesnt like that. Having Jesica being a trader will make her like a demin because she actually becomes a vampire. Thats wat i believe about the title. I recommened this book to Annie because she likes to read books like have adventure and also is into books with vampires in them. I think she would really like this book. She also reads alot and i think haveing her read this book would be good. We can also talk about the book together. I really think she will like it and i hope she does.

What i think the theme may have been was even though you don't get what you want or need you can still try and live a great life. It also can be that even siblings don't really get along with eachother. I think i can relate more to Jackie because she was just more like the way i am, with all her argueing and going on someones back to do what she thinks is the best. I actualy think that Jackie was the most right on the situation. Even though the stamps were Mary's granfathers stamps, Jackies mother had given them to her so it really ment it was hers also. Also Jackie had a good reason to use the stamps and it really would have helped both the sisters with bills and they would have less problems. Jackie also needed it for a good cause and Mary just wanted it. That relates to me and my brothers or sisters because we also do disagree and many things and i usualy do something to prove them wrong and me right. We also get in argue fights and it is because of something that is mine and they want it, or even sometimes somthing that is mine and they want it. So i can really say that Jackie and Mary and me and my siblings may have plent in commen,

O Brother, Where Art Thou? and The Alchemist

I think the movie O Brother, Where Art Thou, and The Alchemist is connected because it is sort of like travleing most of the time. Some similarities from Everett and Santiago is they actually travle and meet up with or found a girl along the way. I difference from Santiago and Everett is Santiago has thought about not finishing his journey and Everett just went along with his journey and never really thought about going back. Some more similarities are when they are traveling they do think about a certain person (the ladies) and they wouldn't stop thinking about them. They also knew that they were waiting for them and that they didn't have to worry that they are going to move on. That is what i think they have some similarities.

Connection to the Alchemist

I think i have some connection to Santiago by the fact that he is travleing. He is going to look for the treasure and when there is something that i want to look for i go for it and that is what Santiago is doing. I think i may be diffrent from Santiago because i would have gone for what i was looking for a long time before Santiago decided to go. I agree whit Santiago's choices because i would have done the same. Ant the fact that they told him if its true love then he would be able to go on with his journey without being hold back. Santiago decided to go on with his journey knowing that Fatima will be waiting for him. Also that Santiago will come back for Fatima' just like her father came back to her mother. I think i would have been able to have choosin the same choices as Santiago to pursue my dream because Santiago is doing the right thing. He is also taking chances and risks to persue it. Carring about someone might and may affect you by persueing ur dreams. It can affect them because when you =care about someone or they care about you very much they wont want you to leave and they would want you to be with them instead. And that wont help because you will probably stay with them and not even persue what you wanted to. So when you care about someone or even something it can affect you very much.

This picture connects to the book because it is a herd of sheep and Santiago thinks a lot about his old sheep. He thinks about if he should go back or he could just finish his journey. As he thinks about it he thought he could always go back to his sheep and being a shepherd. He also always thinks about how he learned from his sheep. And that how he can learn from lots of other things too.

Compare With Shattered Mirror

I read the book "Shattered Mirror" and what i think the most important word in the book is "Vida Law". The Vida Law is for the whitches (vampire hunters). I think it was made by Dominique Vida one of the main and powerful witch. The Vida Law shows up plenty of times in the book. And that is why i think that word is important because it is acually a rule for all the whitches and they have to fallow the rules or they can be disown. As to not have any powers.

Shattered Mirror

Dear Amelia Atwater-Rhodes,

I am currently reading the book that you have written called "Shattered Mirror". I really did not want to read this book but when our english class got an assingment on reading a book I didn't know what to read.My friend had recomended me to read this book. At first I was like "why read this book? I don't like to read about Vampires". As I started to read the book, it got more interesting to read. It took me a while to really read this book' but one day when we had to read in class i started to read alittle of the book. As i read the book i really liked how it started i did not get confused and thats what i like when i read a book. To me the book seems like a romance book and it's really like a forbettin love. Well more as the vampire has a cush and the whitch doesn't want anything to happen because he might and could get hurt. I like this book because when i read it i really understood all and most of the words. Most books taht i read have words that i don't understand and thats why i stop reading it. What i also liked about the book is that you knew who was the charcters and i was not confused on who was talking or doing anything else in the book. When I was reading this book i was able to picture and imagine of what was going on in the book. I wanted to ask what got you interested on writting books like the "Shattered Mirror"? When did you start writting books, and what was you're first book that you ever written? What was really going through you're mind when you were writting this book? also what made you write about some whitch/vampire hunter name Sarah and about her tryin to kill a vampire name Nikolas? What encouraged you to write this book or any other book that u have written? What i really liked about the book was that when i began to read it, it started with Sarah in a hous ewith vampires and she was going to fight. I liked that in the begining she had already killed some vampire, because that made me really interested in the book. What i really like about books is when the book is about adventures or mysteries. And in the book "Shattered Mirror" it does have a little bit of a mystery to solve. I would really like to read some more books about mysteries and even of vampires. By reading this book i got really interested in books about vampires. I really havent read the first book, but from friends i have heard that it is a good book. After reading "Shattered Mirror" i am goin to read the first book. I really hope it is as good as Shattered Mirror. I had heard that the first book is about Dominique and i think also about Sarah's sister Adianna. I would really enjoy reading more books like this one. You have written a really good book and i know the other ones that you have written are as good.

well this semester i haven't read any books so far. I want to read a book that involves with real experience and that is based on a real life story. When i find a book that is familiar with what i want to be reading i will post another post writing about the book...

my book

The book that i am reading is called "The Telling". It is about a twelve year old girl name Cassie and she is getting molested. She starts with baby-sitting the neighbors childrens, Dorian and Tina. One day when one day she was at the Sloanes house and Fred Sloane (the father) kissed her. After Fred had done that a couple of times they went to the police and made a report. Now Cassie has a restaining order on the Sloanes. Cassie has been doing good.

dreams

what i have learned from everything i read about dreams is that most of you"r dreams mean something in reality. So what Santiago dreamed about is going to happen or is tryin to tell him something and help him out in life. I think Santiago did make the right desition on doing what he did because dreams are there to help you. I believe that dreams are something showing you your life and how you feel. I also believe that dreams can prodict your fruter and it does help you in life.
